What happened to listing #D130305GI

Post by brianleewheat » Tue Mar 05, 2013 2:02 pm

I went to submit for this listing this morning (9:00 AM EST) and it was no where to be found. The deadline says 9:30 AM PST which is 12:30 PM EST. I wrote a song specifically for this, so I would very much like to submit it.

PRODUCER for a NEW TV SERIES needs GUITAR-DRIVEN ROCK INSTRUMENTALS. They’re looking for MID-to-UPTEMPO, MODERN sounding tracks, with STRONG, UPLIFTING, RHYTHMS, or a GRITTY, POWERFUL, EDGE. Quoting the show’s Producer: “We need INSTRUMENTAL TRACKS that will help move the ENERGY of our show along. The on camera scenes include traveling, having fun, exploring, cooking, eating, etc. We needs songs that will play well under these types of scenes, but will not get in the way of our narration.” Songs that have the right stylistic feel for this request are: “Semi Charmed Kind of Life” by Third Eye Blind http://bit.ly/GN2icy “Slide” by The Goo Goo Dolls http://bit.ly/5EuvmY “Champagne Supernova” by Oasis http://bit.ly/9Ud4mT Use these tracks as a stylistic road map for tempo, tone, texture, and vibe. Imagine the songs WITHOUT the vocals, and avoid sending tracks that show off what a great guitar player you are. Shows like this generally don’t want music that’s so busy or bombastic that it detracts from the dialog or the scene. You must own or control 100% of your composition and master rights. If your song is selected, the company does a 50/50 split with you on the publishing (non-exclusively), and you KEEP 100% of the writer’s share AND you keep 100% of the master recording. As always, DO NOT rip-off the referenced artists in any way, shape or form. Use them ONLY as a guide for tempo, texture, tone, and vibe. Please submit one to three songs online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO basis, with no full critiques from TAXI. All submissions must be received no later than Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at 9:30AM PST. TAXI #D130305GI

this was a dispatch listing, so unless you subscribed to Dispatch you would be SOL.

hopefully you found that out by calling TAXI and they gave the option to upgrade.
