CONTEMPORARY BLUES-FLAVORED ROCK BANDS in the style of "Spread Your Love" by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, "Come Alive" by Hanni El Khatib, "Lonely Boy" by The Black Keys, etc. are needed by an EXCLUSIVE Music Licensing Company that specializes in TV COMMERCIAL placements. This is the FIRST TIME this company has reached out to TAXI for this style of music so let's make a great impression. They're looking for ARTISTS/BANDS that have a GARAGE ROCK sound with a CURRENT BLUES/SOUL vibe. Songs need to appeal to an INDIE aesthetic but still be mainstream enough for TV advertising. Vocals should have a RETRO vibe and a MACHO edge similar to the referenced artists. Lyric themes are open but lyrics need to be PG and UNIVERSAL enough to work for various Ad Campaigns (i.e., no specific names, places, brands, times/dates or detailed storylines). Artists/Bands MUST use REAL INSTRUMENTS and NOT synths. Please submit MID-TO-UPTEMPO songs with MALE vocals ONLY. Vocal and instrumental presentation must be top-notch. They offer an EXCLUSIVE DEAL and will take 20% to 30% of the licensing fee. You must own or control 100% of the master and composition rights.
