( i think it's similar to the Snow Patrol reference..but I have been having a lot of trouble nailing down my submissions !)
..so Thank you in advance for your feed back ! :)

MUSIC SUPERVISOR working on a HOLLYWOOD FEATURE FILM needs ANTHEMIC, ALT-ROCK SONGS with MALE VOCALS for a BIG $$$ placement in a Romantic Comedy. They're looking for MID-to-UPTEMPO SONGS, with DRIVING-MOMENTUM, and an EPIC, SOARING, BUILD, in the stylistic ballpark of:

"Somewhere Only We Know" by Keane http://bit.ly/5ckZ0o

"Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol http://bit.ly/5W7HDr

"Lucky Man" by The Verve http://bit.ly/8SLoe

YOUR Song should be ANTHEMIC, as well as ROMANTIC. They're looking for something that sounds like a REAL band -- authentic and organic -- and NOT like a production music library track. They're NOT looking for synthesizers or drum machines. Vocal performances must be STELLAR. LYRIC themes need to be UNIVERSAL, and have ROMANTIC sensibilities.

This song will be played under a romantic montage, and they're looking to potentially use YOUR FULL SONG. There's also a possibility this placement will bleed into the end credits (which is a very good thing if it happens!). And for that reason, your track needs to be REALLY engaging from beginning to end.

The estimated license fee for this placement ranges between $6,000- $15,000, depending on the length, and type of use. Instrumental mixes are NOT needed at this time, but you'd be smart to have them at-the-ready. Your song must be at least 2 minutes long. Broadcast Quality must be top-notch for this. Excellent home recordings are fine. Please do not copy or rip off the referenced artists/songs in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a stylistic guide for tempo, tone, and vibe. You must own or control 100% of your master and composition rights to submit for this pitch. DO NOT submit material that is in any other catalogues or libraries, even if non-exclusively! Please submit 1-3 songs online, or per CD. All songs will be screened on a yes/no basis, no full critiques. Submissions are due no later than Monday, March 18th, at 12PM PST. TAXI #U130318AR

This is a broad sweeping and general statement, not specific to your song:
Any song about someone who is in a bad relationship would be an unlikely candidate for a romantic montage at the end of a movie.

Your lyrical approach on this particular song, with vivid imagery and detailed events is ideal for a song written by/for a band/artist for a CD release, touring. The song and story in it IS the show, more than being an emotional background to support a wide variety of possible visual situations.

If its any consolation, the closest thing I have already written that meets the musical criteria has a night time reference in the chorus (there was a listing last year that specifically wanted those). Chances are pretty good that romantic montage montage will include at least one daylight scene, so I'm working on a new something without that lyrical limitation.
