i understand that a 50/50 split of any revenue is standard on collabs. but does that also include a 50/50 split on the COPYRIGHT of my songs?
i write music and lyrics and may collaborate with a producer.

Generally, yes... Most people do even shares of the copyright and any revenue.
There is no one-size-fits-all answer to questions like this and circumstances can vary. I'm replying with what is most customary. You also might want to expand on why you consider splitting revenue and copyright two different things.

well, even if we share royalties, i still own the copyright to my songs, right? (NOT his production of course, if it's a collab and not work for hire)
