I wrote Bottle Swing as I listened to Youtube Parov Stelar's music Chambermaid Swing.


Bottle Swing

There's a bottle of beer in fridge that I'm ignorin'
or tryin' too but it keeps right on callin '
tempting me through kitchen wall, along white empty hall
Its ice cold, I'm thinking that, comfy on sofa sprawl

I'll be good, sevens enough, got to think liver
and for minute or two I make good actor
but it's in the fridge, I know that, it knows that
and only one of us will come out victor

footie isnt keeping my attention like should
didn't I promise I'd cut back and be good
devil on shoulder dressed in usual red
oh but your throats feelin' like sandpaper he said

its a short walk even when unsteady in zigzag
crawlings been tried before, not needed presently
