I'd consider the Lucas Nano system, very easy to carry and sounds really great http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... at7YvjHWew

If you don't need more than two inputs, an Roland ac33 or 60 can also be an option as it has inputs for both acoustic guitar and mic, and it can come in handy for street performances (if you should come up with that idea 8-) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Y6uNqt0ZhU

To get a great sound on the vocals through these things, I'd use a Tc-Helicon T1 for vocals http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5spNwl53LKg (the first pedal she turns on in the vid) and maybe a Fishman Aura Sixteen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAWKqJWPI38 for the guitar.

These are really great and road tested options for small budgets.

Cool links! I am amazed at how well the battery powered amps work and the lifetime of the batteries. I use a Vox. The voice pedals are pretty amazing also. Thanks for sharing.
