CONTEMPORARY SOPHISTICATED INSTRUMENTALS w/METRO sound??

Do y'all use Logic plugins like Scrupture or Ultrabeat? I usually try to stay from them because of what other musicians say. I'm really not clear of what "Metropolian" means unless we're talking about smooth jazz.

yeah i do. i think ultrabeat is fine. sounds often need further processing to be distinctive but.....

I personally like Ultrabeat. I use Addictive Drum now but I did once. Sounding live is always a concern. I understand Komplete Ultimate has some processing stuff for drums.

actually its got great drum samples too. Studio drummer, 80's drummer, 70's drummer 60's drummer - and i guess in the upgrade you get vintage drummer as well and battery 4

or maybe a little D'Angelo vibe keeping it clean and maybe not so HIP HOP, a little softer, a little more R&B than straight hip hop.

and naturally, instrumental.

I like Andy's suggestion on this listing as a way to go. I don't know what's meant by D'Angelo vibe though. I suppose I'm not familiar.

On Logic Plugins I was thinking of the plugins inside ultimate. I've never tried it but I had an idea to mix some Sculpture or maybe some Ultrabeat with some other things like Native Instruments.
