Hi Everyone,
Submitted to this listing a while back.Still waiting to hear.Would love to know if I am on target..my songs are " Boppin" and "Deedles"...Thx...U130524JZ

A-LIST HOLLYWOOD MUSIC SUPERVISOR working on a DOCUMENTARY FEATURE FILM needs ORIGINAL JAZZ INSTRUMENTALS in the stylistic ballpark of legendary artists such as Louis Armstrong, Charlie Parker, Clark Terry, Miles Davis, and Dizzy Gillespie. Your instrumentals must sound authentic, and can range in style from The Harlem “Birdland” era, to straight-ahead Jazz, to Bebop, to Big Band Swing, etc. Quoting the source: This is a Documentary about one of the ALL TIME GREATS! There are many huge celebrities and Top Jazz Musicians attached to this film. We’re looking for music that will help tell the story of this particular artist’s journey from the early days of blowin’ in smoke-filled barrelhouses, to the more sophisticated Big Band era.” TAXI Tip: Instrumentals featuring the trumpet will work best, however they’re ALSO interested in other instrumentation that’s authentic to the 1940s through the 1960s Jazz era. In other words, your track doesn’t HAVE to have trumpet as the lead instrument. They’re NOT looking for anything that sounds too slick, or contemporary. Avoid tracks that are overly polished or have electronic instrumentation. Your performances need to be top notch. Broadcast Quality must be consistent with the era. Excellent home recordings are fine. Avoid submissions that are too busy or frenetic. Your track needs to play well with picture and under dialogue without being distracting. It’s important that your piece helps to emphasize the Jazz vibe, soul, and emotion that the producer needs for this story. The estimated licensing fee for this placement is $1,000-$1,500. This is direct to Music Supervisor, so YOU WILL KEEP 100% of the revenue! You must own or control 100% of the Master and Composition rights to submit for this listing. NO covers, please. As always, do NOT copy or rip off the referenced artists or their songs in any way, shape, or form! Do NOT use samples of any other artists' songs or sounds. Please submit one to three Instrumentals online or on CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis by a screener who has been hand-picked by this renowned Music Supervisor. No full critiques. Submissions must be received no later than Friday, May 24th, 2013 at 5:30PM (PDT). TAXI #U130524JZ

Hi Tim,

I am not really qualified for this genre but overall I think you could have a contender for this listing.

The trumpet: I could not tell if it was real or not. It had me guessing the entire time. some parts sounded like it had to be real and other parts could have been a great sample well executed. So if it's not real, please let me know what you are using. :)

The piano: the notes and playing were great but the overall sound was a little electric. It could work but I have a feeling they will be really specific on the sound of your instruments for this listing.

Good luck with it.
