Alberta Floods

Post by thesongriders » Fri Jun 21, 2013 10:31 am

I just wanted to say I hope any fellow Calgarians and Albertans are safe from the unprecedented flooding that's hit us. I am lucky to live up on a hill, but I know there were many who weren't so fortunate.

Stay strong, we will get through this!

I guess its pretty serious, eh? I used to live in Edmonton. Do you know if they were affected too?

In my thoughts..

It's awful how bad it is.
I'll be playing at the Caster arena on the 13th. ( alias The Beaverdome )
with my band.
I'm sure we'll hear all about it.
Thankfully no ones been seriously hurt.

Yeah apparently the jumbotron is ruined in the Saddledome and water has filled the entire lower level. I believe Edmonton is under a flood watch, but fortunately I don't think anything serious has happened there yet. I think Castor is okay too.
