That is a great song, I really like it. Have you taken the vox off so you can also have an instrumental to pitch? That may open things up if you really want it to get signed faster, perhaps. But the voice is cool, and I see this in a film, (you know, a truck, open country, a broken relationship, cleaning up one's life, leaving mistakes in the past). It's kind of funny, too, with the whole 'ugly' reference. Well, it will go somewhere, sometime, just keep pitching it. Also, you may find a filmmaker that is working on a project / pitch it other places on your own too.

As an instrumental with no lyrics, I would think this would get picked up pretty quickly, not that you want your vocals to go to waste. The electric guitar melodic motif is really nice, and it has great energy.

I liked this. It isn't really top 40 but neither was J. Mraz "I''m Yours" It seems like a perfect movie placement? Could get legs from that. Here's a great NPR article about how TV is replacing movies for getting songs noticed. http://www.npr.org/blogs/therecord/2013 ... urce=Music
