Addressing one of the comments: groove all over the place. This revision has the EZ drummer track removed. I feel and hope that it greately improves or at least somwhat improves the issue with variable groove. I admit I am not a good EZ Drummer user. Drums or percussion are not my instrument, and its a struggle.

By removing the drums, and if the rest of the tracks are much better in teh same groove, hopefully the problem is isolated (need different more fitting drum track). If any of you woudl be willing to chime in and let me know if you agree that I did in fact improve the variabilty on the track as a whole, or not, I would appreciate your time. Thanks again.

One more revision.

I worked on getting grooves to match by quantizing. Also chose a different drum kit, but kept the same beats. The different kit seemed to make considerable difference.

Just hope I am going in the right direction.

Thanks and regards,

Hey Tim. Rev 2 wasn't on SC, but rev 3 sounds like the band is getting closer to playing the same groove. (acoustic lead is a bit outside the groove in the first solo, mebbe you need to have the guit player re-track that?) Anyway, sounds like yer gettin' there.

BTW, one of my favorite vocal "groove" tricks is to get liquored up and dance in front of the microphone while singing. (just don't get sloppy drunk cause then your studio gets rearranged in a not so organized manner due to stumbling and falling)

Seriously, though, if you can get your body to feel the groove, your vox will follow.

agree sounding much closer. get those guitar solos more in the pocket and then time to work the vocal.

Russell's comment is pretty funny. I almost fell off my chair...the part of how the studio get re-arranged! lol.

Russell and Andy Thanks so much again for your generous and very helpful comments. I'll look at having the first solo redone.

AND, Russell, your comment made me laugh also!!! Love it!
