Well, based on my (very limited) experience, if they contact you about it, they'll ask what else you've got -- and you've got stuff that they might like better than the screener did! A foot in the door is worth a TON.

Thanks CK. Good to see you back! The foot in the door is kinda what happened with the MTV library. They liked the 5 tracks that I originally sent and wanted to know if I had more. So I ended up sending him 4 existing tracks and then I wrote 5 more. He signed them all. That made me happy Glad you like the signature. What can I say, I'm a geek. Thanks spaceeagle... If I were to just sit down and write a song, with no listing in mind, those tracks I wrote for MTV would be what comes out. It kinda freaks my wife out sometimes. She's like "You're such a nice guy, but then I hear these metal songs you write and I just get a bit scared." hehe - Big Blue

Hi Barry! When I met you at the Rally, you seemed like a nice, mellow guy. Where did all this rock 'n roll rage come from? Great tunes! Good luck with them.Bob

Thanks Bob! May 21, 2009, 4:45am, djbobm wrote:When I met you at the Rally...Where at the Rally did we meet? Was it on Sunday night at dinner? I'm thinking that's where it was. You were across the table, maybe one, two chairs to the left, that sound right? Or am I getting you confused with someone else? Great tunes! My wife wonders the same thing I guess it was all the years of only being allowed to listen to southern gospel hymns while growing up. Then I saw a video one day by some band, what was their name again... umm... it rhymes with Betallica... oh yeah, Metallica After that, the inner "Animal" that had been caged inside was released! - Big Blueps - Bob, I posted this link - http://video.google.com/googleplayer.sw ... 2599&hl=en - in another thread - http://taxi.proboards.com/index.cgi?boa ... read=13381 - but since you've been away for a bit, you may not have seen it...
