If the listing says they are looking for a band as well as songs, is it worth submitting songs even if you are sure they won't offer you a band contract?
I say this because it is hard to find listings wanting Old School country music (which I do) but I doubt anyone big co. would hire us to tour as some of us are old and others too tied down with marriages, day jobs etc.

Re: Q about submissions
Hi Randy,
Welcome to the forums! It would be easier to answer your question if you could post the specific listing.
That said, I wouldn't submit to a listing that asked for bands if you're not ready to answer the call. It would sour things pretty quickly with the interested party.
Regards,
Mike

Yeh,
I agree with Mike. If you can't, you may not want to.
There are plenty of other listings.
