My song about simple whimsical track got returned

To tell you the truth, I asked for a custom critique for that song!! Didn't quite agree though with the screener on most parts. He got everything wrong, as far as my production was concerned. Whatever he said I had probably done, I hadn't. And whatever he suggested I should be doing, I had been...
Still, a 20.000$ deal is something that needs only the best, and I never got the chance to know who took the job. Perhaps this lack of transparecy is what bothers me most, I don't know. Can't claim that my song was such a hit, though I do think that it wasn't too dramatic, as the screener initially stated.

Hi George/Margarita,

sorry about your frustrations, I got returned as well. all you can really do is move on, be proud of what you created (there will be a home for that lost puppy someday) and hope for the best next time. Being in such a subjective field there is still a lot of "luck" involved in the process, regardless if you think you created a masterpiece that is on point or not so dont forget that (for sanity sake lol). We're all on the same boat here, and one of these days you'll get a deserved forward while someone else will be dumbfounded by their "undeserved" return...and the wheel turns again
