I think it's a great song. Perfect for film and TV.
The mix sounded nice. The only thing I could pick on was the autotune on the vocal. It was a bit too pronounced.
But that's just my personal preference.

erg... just about to post a new mix after tweaks applied, and then I read your note, Pedro, which I think is an on-track comment. Hmnnn... so I need to go leval this new mix (and the vocal work I did to it) again. Pitch correction is a tricky animal, for me. Probably due to the source... hehe... ;/

SongCab, Nick - I implemented your thoughts (thanks!), with the exception of lyrical content changes. Just.... couldn't quite go there, because of the original intent (though I get your points clearly). I will, however, take your advice Nick, and write another.

I'll have this up again, and update this thread then.

sounds good. there is a midrange freq in the guitar that I would take out a little of. its a little honky. most noticable in the intro. just a little.

the vocal could use finer leveling. at the end of some phrases you kind of tail off, makes it sound like you ran out of breath. a little volume goose there could bring that into focus.

you are brave Brent. its a hard thing but congrats on posting this.

Well done, the tuning still had a couple of noticeable spots but NOTHING like the other version.
You're well on your way to finishing this one off.
Watch the timings in that small bridge type section.
