Lyricist looking for music collaborators

Post by tcourtersmith » Thu Nov 14, 2013 2:31 pm

New to the forum. I've written a bunch of lyrics, some with music, but need someone musically stronger with whom to work and take them to the next level (get them produced and submitted). My lyrics fall into a ballad/folk/singer-songwriter genre. Please let me know if you'd like to hear/read some of my stuff to see if it's something you'd like to work with me on.

Hi,

I'd very much like to explore this.
I also new to the forum, and just returned from my first Taxi Road Rally. (Great inspiring experience and am eager to build on it.)

I'm a lyricist/composer but I like what working with someone does to establish new patterns.

I have LOTS of songs ready for lyrics, I also like taking existing lyrics and putting music to them.

Let's talk more.

Hi Michael:

Thanks for the reply. Nice to meet you!

My website is still under construction, so I can't show you stuff in one package. However, I've attached two sets of lyrics for you to take a look at and to which you can react. (At least I've tried to send them. Since I'm new to the site I'm still feeling my way around the functions. Please let me know if you can't open them.)

Give them a look and let me know what you think. One of them is structured more as a poem, so I'm willing to accept that some re-structuring may be necessary. (No hard feelings if they don't fit into an area of interest for you.)

Regards,

T
