Hi Hunters,this is my first post on this forum (very instructive forum indeed), i'm a frenchy guy and joined taxi one month ago.I've just been forwarded for the 2 songs i submitted to this one:ALTERNATIVE ROCK/INDIE ROCK SONGS in the full range of Razorlight, Kings of Leon, Vampire Weekend, The Raconteurs, etc. are needed by an LA-based Music Publisher with tons of Film/TV placements, including a lot of TAXI material signed and placed. The styles can be pretty diverse as long as it fits in the realm of the referenced artists. Excellent performances along with lyrics that are universal are essential. No instrumentals please - only songs with vocals! Male or female vocals are just fine. They offer a non-exclusive, 50/50 split deal - you keep your original copyrights. Broadcast quality needed (great home recordings are fine). Please submit one to three songs online or per CD, include lyrics. All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS ONLY - NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI - and must be received no later than Friday, April 24, 2009.
