As a lyricist writing in a range of genres, I'm always looking for pro-minded artists/composers to work with. I try many ways to hook up with like minded songwriters. This is the first time I've tried this angle.
The question is this:- Are you a songwriter, composer, artist etc who would be willing to work on a specific lyric, for a specific purpose?
In this case the 'Contemporary Reggae song' requested in Taxis' news email,
OR in fact any other one asked for through this medium?
I'm not a fully paid up member of Taxi, simply can't afford that right now. So I obviously require someone who is, in order to make this work.
I do of course have a contemporary Reggae song lyric, whether it fits the bill or not is for you to decide.
The song is required by Monday 16th Dec. so no pressure!
As I say this is really a stab-in-the-dark, a rather cheeky one I know, but I would truly like to know if using this method of collaborating to produce a requested song - in this case with a $15,000 fee on offer - is actually acceptable both to Taxi and any members who may (hopefully) be reading this?
