A sleek, modern, contemporary REGGAE Song is needed by an iconic luxury automobile brand for their next TV Commercial. Bob Marley's "Get Up Stand Up," "One Love," or "Wonderful World, Beautiful People" by Jimmy Cliff all give you a hint as to the kind of Simple, Universal LYRIC HOOK they need. But, for this TV spot, they're looking for the rhythm track to be MUCH more sexy, sleek, and contemporary than those old school classics. Break out the polish for this pitch!

Could you deftly blend in some Hip Hop or EDM elements with your Reggae? Maybe! Could you try some really cool, dreamy, ethereal synth sounds? Probably! Should you imagine what contemporary Reggae would sound like if done by a cool, super hip, contemporary-sounding composer/producer? Yes! Then add a simple, positive, one-idea lyric hook to polish it off, and you could very well have what they need!

Maybe a lyric hook about feeling free, feeling great, flying, loving life, and/or car attributes like strength, power, etc. ... Think about how driving this awesome new car would make you feel. Then think about what the well-monied, handsome 43-year-old guy and his gorgeous wife (the target demographic) would listen to when they're in the mood for some Reggae. Sting comes to mind, but you should probably go even more contemporary than that!

Please don't submit anything with lyric themes that are political (sorry Mr. Marley) or sexist. Sexy is good. Speed is good. Rising up against the establishment, "Not so good, mon."

They really want a laid back, relaxed feel for this spot, so we recommend a tempo in the ballpark of 78 BPM. They're going to be juxtaposing super slow-motion shots of beautiful images with the song. Kiss me with those sweet lips won't you pretty please. (could be metaphorical for attraction to the car/give me some sugar car...or about the person next to you. The attraction and love the couple have for each other built the life and wealth that allows them to afford THIS luxury vehicle.)
