Opinions on this pop song please!

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum, hope you're all good

I'm a pop singer/songwriter and was wondering what you thought of this demo that I'm going to be pitching for some pop taxi listings for major pop boy bands with a One Direction kind of vibe.

For what its worth: IMO the guitar with distortion coming in at 0.36 thru 0.51 for the first time seems not to match the song vibe. Different effect on that maybe. Nicely done . . . vocals are strong.

That's catchy, I'd say you've just about nailed it. Just the sort of thing a boy band would do. Totally not my thing at all, but hey I'm not your market so get it sent in, get some pro feedback and see what happens.

I'm no expert at judging the mix, to me the recording demonstrates the song really well, and anyone should be able to hear the potential if you're aiming for it to be picked up by a record company for one of their top acts. If you're submitting it to a TV/Film listing it would need to be a much bigger production to match the big studio sound of top chart acts but I guess that's not what you want.
