Just wanted to give other Taxi members a headset up, in case anyone is looking to buy some budget nearfield monitors. Just bought a pair yesterday, for $112.50 each. The major sites (Sweetwater, Guitar Center), are running a promo where you buy 2, get the 2nd one 50%. Ends today (Feb 28). At that price, don't think there's much to lose. Will report back once they arrive and I can break them in.
If anyone is looking for Budget nearfields, this is a really good deal. I've been looking at getting new monitors to replace my Fostex PM0.5s that I bought 10+ years ago and are showing their age. The reviews on the various sights have pretty much been flawless, great bang for the buck, and best in the under $500 monitor range. Anyone else have these monitors?
