New HEADPHONES

Hello everyone,

I have a slight problem with my Mac Apple Computer : this is Sound.
It is never very loud enough.

And I definitively cannot use Speakers because my Apartment is situated in a very quiet residential area.

Right, next I decided to change my HeadPhones, so I went to Argos, (a selling by catalogue Company in England), and here we go again : no refund Policy !!
So I mumbled the very well known adage : "no one buys a Donkey hidden in a bag", how can I possibly choose a HeadPhones by just looking at them in a box ?
I explained that I was a Musician, so this was an important matter.
I would have loved to be able to try many samples at home, and then give back the unwanted ones.

I noticed that among the most expensive HeadPhones, there is a device that makes the Beat/Bass quite loud.
I am not interested in that at all, because then I would always hear the Beat/Bass louder than it actually is, but the people who listen to my Music, they would not !

After that, I received some advice, I was told that Sony is generally the favourrite among Musicians, versus, Philips, JVC, Panasonic, etc.
These are my actual Sony HeadPhones, I must say they have been very good so far.

I welcome your Commnents, and your Know-How, what am I going to do ?

Of course, Apple sells fantastic HeadPhones, but they are really expensive ... around £65 at least (convert that in Dollars !).
What I want is good quality HeadPhones that just increase the Sound, making it nice clear and loud. [/color]

If loudness is a concern, make sure you check the ohms. Try to stick to the range of 16 – 32 ohms with a sensitivity rating of at least 100 dB/mW. Anything in that range would be a safe bet if they are going to be self powered without an amp to boost the overall level. I would recommend checking out Sennheiser headphones. Those have done great for me in the past

These HeadPhones look very good indeed. Thank you for finding them for me.

Of course, I move my Computer Sound as high as possible at times. It varies, it varies on that which people publish themselves.

For instance, Michael TV Shows at Ustream are rather lower in Sound.

At YouTube it changes all the time.

At SoundCloud, the Sound is middle range.

My iTube Music can be loud. But still not always loud enough. Etc ...
