Re: submission choices
Hello dear Mark,
Welcome to TAXI and to the TAXI Forum !
What are your Genres/Styles/Sounds ? Exciting Question. So let us have a listen.
In "You Can Always Come" your approach is unconventional, therefore difficult to associate it with a particular Genre.
To me, it is Contemporary Pop. It is a Musical Creation that stands on its own.
It would work well if you were to create a CD.
"Loving You" is similar.
"Better Days" I like your Vocals there !
Well, I shall leave to the other Members to come and listen and share their impressions with you.
I think that you are an Artist, and you worked hard to find your Voice and your Style.
Here at TAXI, in this World of Music Business, although Originality is always welcome, there is a must approach which is to learn to work towards the Supervisors/Libraries/Directors needs.
It involves learning about Lyrics, Sounds, Genres, Technology, etc etc ... not easy.

Re: submission choices
I would try the singer/songwriter listings but maybe stay away from the ones wanting contemporary as yours sound more classic rock to me. Reminds me of some of the Eagles slower songs or Clapton. I see listings for acoustic ballads that would work.
The quality is great so it's just a matter of the right listings.
This is NOT my genre so I may be wrong and you stated you had been off on submissions but this one might do it. Again, I'm not sure if your style is too "classic rock" for this but your vocal style is close to Bon Iver, he does have more contemporary production at times:
LOVE-THEMED, ACOUSTIC INDIE SINGER/SONGWRITER SONGS with Male or Female vocals are needed by a Music Supervisor working on a new Reality TV show on a Major Network. This is his very first listing with TAXI, and we're more than excited to show him the incredible talent we have under the TAXI roof! Give him well-written, Down-to-Mid-Tempo Songs in the stylistic wheelhouse of Sarah Jaffe, Bon Iver, Iron and Wine, etc. Quoting the Supervisor: "I need acoustic-based Songs about the different aspects of love, good or bad. Songs about romance, staying in love, falling out of love, the pain of love ending, etc. Instrumentation should be simple but well-played." Give him melodically compelling Songs with solid hooks and a really strong chorus. Your Songs need to have a vocal performance with tons of emotional pull, and a delivery that's honest, believable, and sincere. Remember, this is for TV, so please be sure your lyrics focus on the feeling of good or bad aspects love in a universal way. Please avoid specific names, places, dates, times, brands, etc. Do NOT copy or rip off the referenced artists in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a guide for tempo, texture, and tone. This is a Direct-to-Music Supervisor pitch, so you'll keep 100% of your Master and Publishing rights, plus you'll also get 100% of the sync fee and any applicable performance royalties. You must own or control 100% of the Master and Copyright to pitch for this opportunity. Please submit one to three Songs online or per CD, include lyrics. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis - No full critiques. Submissions must be received no later than Wednesday, April 23, 2014. TAXI #Y140423SS

Re: submission choices
Hi Mark, I got an 80s vibe with those big sounding reverberant acoustic guitars on your songs. The hair bands, Bon Jovi ect.
