Hip Hop, Latin Jazz, and "Name of a City" forwards
I've gotten a few more forwards recently. Still getting much more returns than forwards, but my ratio is improving!

HIP-HOP INSTRUMENTALS are needed by a well-connected Production Music Library for Reality TV placements. They’re on the hunt for Mid-to-Up-Tempo Tracks with a contemporary feel and swagger. Think of the kind of pumping Instrumental Tracks that you’d hear on shows like Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Shahs of Sunset, The Real World, etc. Your Tracks should have an energetic, lively sound and feel that can add intensity and vibe to various scenes in some of today’s most popular Reality TV shows. Please avoid submitting Instrumentals that are too bombastic or frenetic, as they might overpower the dialog.

LATIN JAZZ INSTRUMENTALS are needed by a MUSIC PRODUCTION COMPANY to pitch for TV Commercials. They’re on the prowl for exotic and playful Instrumental Tracks in the stylistic ballpark of artists such as Sergio Mendes, Mongo Santamaria, Sergio Mendes & Brazil 66, etc. Your submissions should have a fresh, festive, and tropical sound. Imagine the music that might play while you’re drinking margaritas on the beach at a fiesta in Mexico. Your Tracks should be Mid-to Up Tempo with a playful, sexy, and alluring sound that makes you want to dance.

SONGS that feature CITY and STATE NAMES are needed by a Music Supervisor for placements in a Sports TV show on a Major Broadcast Network. Can you believe it? Finally, somebody who actually wants you to mention Cities and States in your songs! Oh, happy day! Have you ever noticed how they use songs about a city or state at the beginning of a football game when they say, “Live, from Chicago, Illinois, it’s the Bears VS the Green Bay Packers in a classic showdown,” and you hear Frank Sinatra singing, “Chicago” to establish the location? That’s the kind of songs they need, but they want your ORIGINAL songs, NOT covers! The Supervisor wants to hear Songs in ALL Tempos and ALL Genres, with Male OR Female vocals. Singer/Songwriters, Full Bands, Big Bands, Hip Hop, Rock, Classic Rock, Pop Rock, etc., are all fair game for this pitch! And the best part is, your songs can be from ANY era or time period!!! Please check out the following examples to help wrap your head around the possibilities of what's needed for this pitch: "Empire State Of Mind" by Jay Z and Alicia Keys: http://bit.ly/1cSLFu1 "Boston-My Home Town" by Freddy Cannon: http://bit.ly/1cND0xV "Chicago" by The Doobie Brothers: http://bit.ly/Ppa7xL Got a song that references a city or state by name (or even a common nickname like, The City by the Bay, or The Mile High City)? Those could work if the song also mentions the proper name as well. Songs that are about the city or state, and feature the name, will probably do better than songs that merely mention the name. “I love the deep dish pizza in Chicago,” probably won’t be as desirable as, “Chicago is… my kind of town, Chicago is…” Songs with a catchy and memorable lyric hook with the city or state’s name will probably go to the top of the pile. Billy Joel’s, “New York State of Mind” would be another great example, but again, they need ORIGINAL songs. And while Billy’s song is somewhat reflective, we’d suggest songs that are positive and uplifting for this show. Lift the viewers up, don’t bring them down. Please do NOT submit any songs with profanity. Enthusiastic or endearing vocal performances that help “sell” the city or state should do well for this pitch.

Hi Matt,
Yes, quite the diversity of genres I'd say. My three latin jazz forwards for the same listing sounded nothing like your forward, so it's nice to see some diversity on the screener's part!
good luck with these,
