3 for 3 on F&TV Push listing!!!

Post by audiorayne » Sun Mar 29, 2009 5:18 am

Hi Folks! I haven't been around much lately as I've been swamped trying to keep my day job (out of necessity, for now anyway ) but just wanted to share the news - these forwards made my week! Gotten some great mileage out of a couple of these, but see a special note about some changes to the last tune. "Won't Go Back Again" - new-ish rockin' co-write with Big Blue Barry that some of you may have heard! This one is an update from the track that we posted a few months back.http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... ue"Staring Out The Window" - and oldie but a goodie?? http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... true"First Dream"http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... m=trueSome back-story on this one: As many of you know, myself and Big Blue have been working together quite a bit lately, and we've got a pretty good system worked out. I did some vox for him for another tune "Not With Me," a little while back, and in turn, he offered to do some re-mixing/mastering of one of my tunes, and actually suggested "First Dream." There's a bit of a story behind this one, as I wrote it for my wife and surprised her by playing it when I proposed, and then I played it live at our wedding reception. So, it's got a bit of significance and I decided that since Blue had made this generous offer I'd take him up on it and give my wife an update of the song for Valentine's day. Despite the fact that the original had a bit of a sentimental element, Blue has a sensitivity about him that told me that the song was in good hands and that it would treated with care. He did up one version of it which I gave my wife and she absolutely loved it, of course! (there were a few tears, even, but don't tell anyone .. ). However, out of the goodness of his heart, since the original was a little long, Blue also did me a "Film & TV" version that you can hear above. Needless to say, since one of the Push listings was for F&TV, the timing was quite good. IMHO he ended up making this one sound like GOLD, despite the somewhat "dated" original tracks of mine that he had to work with. Hopefully you will like it too. So, THANKS A MILLION BIG BLUE BUDDY! Cheers everyone, and thanks for reading!-AR

LOGAN!!! This is as cool as good news gets, without getting the DEAL. But I have no doubt that the deal is right around the corner for you. You and my buddy Triple-B have an enormous future ahead of you.Congrats, my friend.Ted
