Hi folks. Finally pulled the trigger after an embarrassing number of years hesitating. Just didn't want this to be something I regret not pursuing. Music has been my passion for as long as I remember and since I'm writing anyway, I figured I'll see if I'm any good, or can at least can get good at it. I have a question for you veterans of the TV/Film trenches out there; What is the most productive way to start building a catalog? Do I focus on specific listings? Do I need a broad palette or should I specialize/play to my strengths? How do you identify the most in demand types of cues? Ok that's 4 questions, sorry, I'll stop there... for now. Anyway, looking forward to being a member of this community and to becoming a rich and famous songwriter
Peace.

Welcome Paul,
I haven't been here long enough or been successful enough to adequately answer your questions but wanted to welcome you here anyway.
I can tell you this though - look VERY SPECIFICALLY at what the listing is asking for and the EXACT examples they give and then see if you can emulate that.
All the best,
Doug
