I've said it before: I don't WANT money.I just want to EXCHANGE a buttload of it for goods, services, housing, charity, travel and luxury items.

Re: Food for thought
If I got 2 mil out of nowhere it would be on like donkey kong.I would definitely make more more music, not less. Writing music is something I really can't help. Even when I'm tired and don't feel like doing anything I still end up sitting infront of a keyboard and a computer screen. I'll go at it hard for a month writing 3-5 per week and then I'll say "alright, I need to give it a rest so I don't burn myself out." Within 2 days I'm writing again. -Steve

Getting 2 mil...heck even 1 mil (even less)....would allow us to get off this rat wheel were running on.It would allow us to do what we LOVE to do.....make music. My husband of course would still be the marketing / workaholic that he is, it would just be directed in a totally new direction.I could care less about being rich. I only need enough to cover the basic cost of living so that the stress of the "bills" isn't always looming.oohhhhhhh how one can dream

It wouldn't matter...as I already spend nearly every dime I have on trying to make and record music. Well, that and bubble wrap. There's just something about snapping that stuff... Oh, and wine. Since the bubble-snapping thing and the wine are tied so closely together...

Ted, if you were not intentionally referring to 2:04 into this video, then the parallels between what you've said and this video is mind boggling all the way down to a quantum physics level P.S. My wife thinks this video is quite the documentary of my life, btw. No reflection on anyone else here!!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xEzGIuY7kw

Didn't even know that video existed. So, no, I wasn't referring to that video. Uhm, wait...I mean, YES. Yes, I was. Of course I was. Why would I have said such a thing if I weren't referring to that video. That would make me pretty creepy, wouldn't it?

Re: Food for thought
I think anybody who would stop making music if they won two million dollars should seek a career as a professional lottery player rather than a professional musician... And although I have no reference for comparison I have to believe that it's far more satisfying to make even just 50k a year from your music than it would be to "get" or "win" 2 million.
