ACOUSTIC GUITAR-BASED NEW AGE INSTRUMENTAL TRACKS are needed by the Music Supervisor of a promising new TV Show. He’s looking for lush Down-to-Mid-Tempo Instrumental Tracks in the general stylistic ballpark of artists like Will Ackerman, Michael Hedges, Alex de Grassi, etc. Please review the following Tracks to get in the general wheelhouse of the sound he needs: “Big Thing In the Sky” by Will Ackerman “Chava’s Song” by Michael Hedges “Western” by Alex de Grassi Quoting the show’s Music Coordinator: “This will play as source music for a yoga/meditation room type environment, so the music shouldn’t compete with the scene, but add depth, and compliment it well.” Give him soothing material that has a reflective quality, that can put the audience at ease. Submissions should have well-played acoustic guitar as the primary melody, with a clear New Age production. Additional instrumentation like lightly played strings or piano could also work, but it’s not absolutely necessary if the acoustic guitar performance can stand on it’s own. Submissions should be at least 2 minutes in length. Please do NOT copy or rip off the referenced artists in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, texture, tone, and vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine). The estimated license fee for this use is $1,000 - $2,000. This is a Direct-to-Music Supervisor placement, so you’ll keep 100% of your Publishing and Master rights, plus you’ll keep 100% of the sync fee and any applicable performance royalties. You must own or control 100% of the Copyright and Master to pitch for this opportunity. All Instrumentals will be screened on a Yes/No basis by a Music Coordinator working directly on the show.
