Taxi Source Code?
Hi Campers, any idea what a 'Taxi source code' is? One of the licensing houses I'm in touch with asks for it in their info-gathering process. It's not 'required', but either way I was just curious if anyone knows where to find it and what it's for. I don't think I've ever known about it until now.
cheers, Jordy

Sorry, Jordy... If I told you I'd have to kill you.

Just ask the library. It might be your Taxi ID# (maybe for them to keep track of who they signed from the group of submissions).

I think it's just the listing number of the listing you submitted to...

I believe I know which company you are talking about. I was told that is a number that the company sets up for tracks they accept through taxi. If you are submitting directly you will leave that blank in their submission form.

gotcha, thanks Allen. I don't think it's something that's widely requested by the various firms, but like they say 'the more info the better' I guess. Interestingly, they also want their pitches to be 128 kbps, after my big campaign to bump everything to 196. Oh well, they're still mostly 128 on the downstairs computer...not a biggie...

Re: Taxi Source Code?
If you submit to this company via a TAXI listing, your track is forwarded, AND they want to sign it, they'll send you a code to enter into this box.
Cheers.
