Crossover with which genre ?

Post by AmandaJane » Sat Jan 10, 2015 5:02 pm

"HEARTFELT, ADULT CONTEMPORARY BALLADS with CROSSOVER APPEAL and Female Vocals are needed by a Multi-Platinum Record Producer who's actively hunting for amazing songs for artists he's currently working with."

Please can someone help me with an explanation of 'crossover' in this context ? Is it referring to Pop or Christian or something else ?

Sorry in advance for what might be a daft question :)

btw its listing #S150120AC

I'm assuming Pop because I believe that both Jordin Sparks and Jennifer Hudson were Urban artists that crossed over into Pop.
