I wouldn't say she is at all a shark, sounds legit according to this article she wrote.

First, I have no way of knowing for sure if she is legit since I don't know her. But writing articles and having a slick website doesn't mean anything. The NY Law Firm that tried to take me had all of that as well.

One of the red flags for me was the promise that she would shop songs to those big names such as Warner/Chappell, Sony, Universal, etc. That's typical for what people who take advantage of unknown songwriters say.

I didn't realize that the particular lawyer was identified on this thread. I wish she wasn't. I will be deleting all my posts if her identity remains in TheFates' and Len's posts. It's inappropriate for me to comment on a SPECIFIC person here as opposed to keeping it general.

Good for you. I wouldn't even have considered this offer. That $200 she would have charged you would get you one year of Taxi membership, which does so much more than she claims she would do for you.

Total crap.

Stay with Taxi, hone your craft, pitch when appropriate, and you'll never need to even speak to these sharks.
