Lyricist looking for new partners to collaborate with
I'm a lyricist looking to work on more collaborations with new partners. I have written lyrics in the pop, adult contemporary, and rock genres. I enjoy writing lyrics and need to get more practice to help improve my skills.
If you want to hear some of my work, check out my SoundCloud page. Feel free to get in contact with me if you like what you hear.

Hello Mary,
Just listened to a couple of the songs on Soundcloud and really fell in love with 'My Heart Can't Be Tamed'. The lyrics are very catchy, easily got stuck in my head and the melody in the chorus is snappy!
Did you write this song yourself or is there a co-writer? Who is singing these gritty and powerful vocals?
Keep up the good work and drop me a line if you're interested to collaborate with me, I can bring some 'storytelling' lyrics on the table with 'juicy' beats.
Cheers

Thank you for stopping by and listening to my music!
It's nice when you make a new fan. Also, I'll have a new song being posted within the next couple of days; if you'd like to stop by and listen it.
I did have a co-writer for 'My Heart Can't Be Tamed'. His name is Phillippe "Phil" Perelman. Phil worked on the melody on 'Do You Ever Watch Me From Heaven' 'My Heart Can't Be Tamed' and 'Inner Empire' on my Soundcloud page. I learned a lot from him and working with him open the door for me to work with other talented co-writers.
The vocalist for all three songs mentioned above was Gabrielle "Gabby" Gordon.
Note: if you click on the title of the songs on my soundcloud page, you'll find more information about the songs, the lyrics, and other links for the artist involved.
Collaborations are cool with me. I'm always looking to get better and work with new people.

I apolozige for not clicking on the song details, it was pretty obvious, and thank you for providing all these information. The Sucrepop Sessions are awesome! I'm just blown away by the quality of the lyrics and the incredible tone of Gabrielle's voice. Once again, "My Heart Can't be Tamed" is my favorite, I can easily imagine the scenes and feel the pain of the speaker.the1lyricistmm wrote:Thank you for stopping by and listening to my music! It's nice when you make a new fan. You seemed to have worked with some fellow Frenchman musicians on these 3 tracks!

How did you get Gabby's vocals? Did you send a rough recording to studiopros.com and pick your singer?

Yes, I did work some Frenchmen on those 3 collaborations. It was a long distance collaboration through the internet so I never met anyone. We used email and could get the ideas we wanted for the songs successfully communicated through email.
I'm not sure how the vocals where done because once I did my part Phil would take over and get in touch with Gabby. I'm sure he would pick the vocalist he wanted and then send the file over to studiopros.com.
