Composer Catalog

Post by keithl » Sun May 10, 2015 8:04 pm

Just wanted to let you know that the library organization software that I wrote, "Composer Catalog", is now available for Mac AND Windows!

www.composercatalog.com

(I am a fellow TAXI member and composer. After trying to keep a spreadsheet updated with way too many tracks, publisher deals, etc, I decided to create a program that would help wrangle all that information and also reporting, have the ability to search on everything, and more)

Thanks!
-Keith

Looks cool, Keith!

I'm courious..
1. Will you be developing an iOS version/ app?
2. If I have Composer Catalog and I decide to get a new computer, I need to move all my data to a new system. (How) can I do that?

There is a great export/import feature that allows you to export your database (including tracks, custom genres, metadata...) from one copy and import it on the new computer. Works great!

Hi gents-

With regard to an iOS version, it would be a great addition, but right now, I am focused on promoting the Win/Mac versions. But down the road, it might happen. Right now, I feel like I gave birth to a 56 pound baby :)

(Not that I have ANY idea what it feels like to give birth!)

And yes, like Kayle said, you can export your data/license key and transfer to your new computer.

Thanks for your interest!

-Keith

(Thanks for your thumbs up, Kayle/Andy!)
