I totally agree with you on the high note stuff and that they should play more "real" I think the brass sound ok, but the leading strings still need a lot of work. I have listen to Cinebrass, Cinestrings Cinematic 2 and Spitfire and i must say that Cinebrass,Cinestrings and Spitfire Ableton have incredible good and autentic sound. Cinebrass are just amazing... and a bit expensive.
If i buy Cinestrings i think it will take my song to another level, cause the strings are the most struggeling thing here, what do you think Andy? On the other hand the brass would probably be a problem for me on future songs.
What library do you folks use when makin orchestral?
