Question re: LIsting Y150815LP (Latin Pop do-over)

Post by Paulie » Sat Aug 01, 2015 5:39 pm

Noticed that there is a re-request for Latin Pop instrumentals.
LATIN-Flavored POP INSTRUMENTALS with Mainstream Appeal are needed by a Music Licensing Company for several ongoing Advertising opportunities that come across his desk. We recently ran this as Listing #U150727LI, and didn't find anything that worked for him, so if you submitted to that listing, please send different material this time around. They're looking hard to find current, full-length, Mid-to-Up-Tempo Instrumentals in the general stylistic ballpark of acts like Pitbull, Enrigue Iglesias, Shakira, etc., etc., etc. Give them commercially appealing Pop Instrumentals that have all the engaging qualities of mainstream Pop music, with just the right amount of Latin flavor to give your track the fun, lively, Ad-friendly vibe they need. Your submissions should be rhythmically compelling, with plenty of great melodic hooks throughout all sections of the piece, and a killer chorus section that has an instantly engaging memorable quality. Due July 27.
From the previous listing:
We recently ran a similar Listing looking for Latin-flavored SONGS as TAXI #U150716LP. Although the references for this Listing have vocals, they’re ONLY looking for Instrumentals this time around.  Quoting the source: “My clients (Ad Agency) presented the spots to a car dealer with ‘Don’t Stop The Party’ by Pitbull as a temp track, and now they want all spots for the year to have music that sounds like that. So, I need to have several options.” Please submit party-friendly, full-length Instrumentals that have all the engaging qualities of the referenced songs, in a fresh and original way. Your submissions should be rhythmically compelling, with plenty of melodic hooks throughout, and just enough Latin influence to give your track a spicy, celebratory Latin flair

So I get the "Hard to find" aspect of the listing  This looks to be their third round, is there any new information we can look at to modify previous submissions? Or is this client difficult to please yet unable to articulate what they want? Did they provide any feedback on what was wrong with previous submissions?

Thanks team.
