Swamp music crash course

Post by daveydad » Mon Aug 03, 2015 9:20 am

Can anyone send a few quintessential examples of what this listing needs?

NEW LISTING -- SWAMPY INSTRUMENTALS CUES are needed by a very active Music Library that's feeding music directly to the editors of an extremely popular Reality TV Show. They're on the prowl for well-crafted, Down-to-Mid-Tempo Instrumentals Cues that you'd hear in shows like Swamp People, Moonshiners, Hillbilly Handfishin', Redneck Island, My Big Redneck Wedding, etc. Submit Cues that have a real-deal, backwoods vibe, with authentic sounding instrumentation like Acoustic Guitar, Mandolin, Slide Dobro, Banjo, Fiddle, Harmonica, etc., etc., etc. Anything that sounds stiff, synthetic, of MIDI driven won't work for this pitch. Your Cues should stick to a central melodic motif while building the Cue with layers of additional instrumentation to keep it interesting as it progresses. You'd be wise to avoid anything that's frenetic, complex, or overly busy for this pitch. All submissions should be at least 2 minutes long. Easy edit points and buttoned/stinger endings are highly encouraged.

Thanks! I noticed a couple of these have heavy electric guitar as the foundation... but they don't mention using that in the description. Maybe a more acoustic approach is better?
