Disappearing Pop-Punk Listing?

Post by shorttonpro » Wed Aug 05, 2015 3:38 am

I had saved this listing and was planning on creating some material for it, but now the listing seems to have disappeared. Deadline was supposedly August 30th. Any clarification on whether or not the opportunity still exists?

CONTEMPORARY POP PUNK SONGS with Male or Female Vocals are needed by the President of an A-List Independent Music Publishing Company with tons of success in Film, TV, and Commercials. They need lively, Mid-to-Up-Tempo Songs in the general stylistic wheelhouse of bands like Fall Out Boy, Paramore, All-American Rejects, etc., etc., etc. Please submit high-energy songs with rockin' guitar riffs, propulsive drums, and a rock solid vocal performance that's chock full of attitude. Lyric themes can vary, but should be consistent with themes generally heard in the Pop/Punk genre. Universal lyrics are needed, so please avoid specific references to names, places, dates, times, brands, and profanity. Do NOT copy or rip off the referenced artists in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a guide for tempo, texture, tone, and vibe. This Company offers an EXCLUSIVE Co-Publishing Worldwide deal. You'll keep 100% of the Writer's share AND 50% of the Publisher's share! They get 50% of the Publisher's share. You must own or control your Master and Copyright to submit. Please submit one to three Songs online or per CD, include lyrics. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis by a TAXI screener handpicked by the Company - No full critiques. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59PM (PDT), on Thursday, August 30, 2015. TAXI #Y150730PP

(Though now I see AUGUST 30 is actually Sunday, and July 30 was in fact a Thursday, so maybe there was a mix up between the months?)

the listing tag has the real date in it -- Y150730PP
Y = Yes/No
15 =yy
07 = mm
30 = dd
PP = an identifier from the title to make this unique (in this case, Pop and Punk)

So given the tag number, your guess is probably correct - the August was a mistake
