I have just one more question…. Then i will get it.. Lets say we get a forward then a call from the recording company, They like the song but want to change some words and arrangement a bit…… Are they gonna want writers percentages for changing the words? Thanks in advance… Marvin

Arranging is not writing; it's a separate credit, most of the time, but the line is often blurry, especially when there are multiple collaborators as is often the case, these days. I won't say there aren't situations where an artist stops by the writing room to change a word, get a third, but if that artist is of the caliber that can get you cut in on some guaranteed Vegas money, I think that's a bet you'd make any day of the week. We should all be so lucky as to have such a problem, which is to say that it's unlikely. In an advertising situation, it's very common to be asked for changes, especially if they're not done editing the video.
