Dear RR alum:
What to do/expect on the very first day & when & how do I get started?
In advance, thank you.

Although the info doesn't come out until about a week before the event, reading all the materials in advance and getting organized is key.

Circle a few choices for your mention session. I recommend getting on the registration line as early as you can so you have the most choice there.

Check off the events and classes you want to attend. There will be lots of times you'll have to compromise because multiple things you want to do are at the same time. When you are there other members who may have taken the same classes before can often help you sort it out.

Last year was my first rally and the best advice I got before I went was, relax and don't over think it. It's not possible to get to every seminar, not even close. Pick the ones you really want to hit and show up early. Enjoy yourself. Talk to people and schmooze. The more connections you make the better. This year I'm going to to the same, only I have a much better idea of what sessions I want to hit. Looking forward to the fun.
