Waves' Gold Bundle is cost-effective, if you need it. If you're on Logic, you might have enough built in to only maybe want the latest version of Waves' L3 Limiter. My favorite plugs are either universally applicable (like Melodyne) or suis generis. (like SPL Transient Designer)

I use Pro Tools so Waves Gold seems worth getting.
The Waves L2 seems to come up a lot!
The Gold bundle includes the L1 which I hears is just about as good.

Heads up opinion coming!

The L2 is the one to get over the L1. It's newer, and from owning both, can be pushed further without hearing the artifacts (distortion).

The L3 is cool too but is a little more complicated if you are using the multi-band version.

I got my L2 for $29. They have crazy sales all the time and audiodeluxe.com often had a further discount cheaper than any other site / source.

Cool. I've got the Gold bundle now, just having a play around with the compressors.
Love the Renaissance compressor and the Renaissance Axx on the guitars!
I get used to the L1 and keep an eye out for an offer on the L2.
