Re: New Member looking for feedback on tracks
hey Brent,
posting in Peer to Peer is a good way to get feedback on your songs, but keep in mind that there is a variety of people and experience levels here, so some might love it, some might hate it - and some people are more about the writing, some are more about the production / mix etc.
A web link to the song is a good thing - Soundcloud for all its problems at least lets people listen on mobile devices which is handy, and you can upload the song and set it to "private" and paste the "share" link for the song in your post.
Another nice thing is to focus peoples listening. For example:
1) if its meant for Film / TV licensing give people an indication what sort of show you could hear it on, or if you had some references for writing it, who those reference artists / tracks are.
2) if its not mean for Film / TV licensing, but its just a track off your album, the feedback might be more all over the map. The more questions you ask, the better the feedback will be.
Good luck!
