Hey guys, I'm new here. I produce some electronic music including dubstep. I was looking through the TAXI listings and saw an ad for Dubstep instrumentals needed. The description is as follows "Please submit rhythmically intense Instrumental Cues with a real-deal Dubstep vibe, cutting edge production techniques, slick electronic elements, and a big 'ol Dubstep Drop." TAXI #Y160203DC
The reference track used for example in this listing is Nero's Into the Night which is NOT a dubstep track. I'm confused by the fact that the Nero reference is a house track with no dubstep elements or a big drop. Nero is mostly known for being a dubstep artist but he also produces other types of electronic music as is evident in the Into the Night reference. So my question is, do I submit a track according to the description or one according to the reference? Is it possible to have the screener bring to attention to their client that the reference and the description don't match? Anyways just wanting to make sure I submit the correct material before uploading so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Re: Dubstep Listing question
Your best bet is usually to take an average of the reference tracks and try to come up with something that would fit on a playlist with them, and since they specifically requested a drop, I reckon you'd better stick one in there.

Re: Dubstep Listing question
Thanks. The only problem is there's only one reference track and that one reference doesn't match the listing description. Maybe I'll just skip this listing this time around and wait for something that actually makes sense to come around. Thanks again!
