Re: Lost MIDI Controller in Logic 10.2.1 Update
hey Len
When I play the Roland I don't get anything
The more I look at it I see that I am hooked up to my Audio interface Tone port UX2
in the physical input I don't see any port listed
I don' t even know why in the midi window that the tone port needs to be there in the first place
Maybe that's the problem

2x 1/4-inch footswitch jacks for sending MIDI commands to recording programs (start/stop, punch in/out, etc.)
Try removing the sum output, and connecting to the keyboard output instead. The sum would be the keyboard + the Toneport UX2.
If the "input view" object, the notes, etc. aren't changing if you play some notes on the Roland, then there's no midi connection getting thru to that point. If there is, then that means you don't have an instrument selected, you should still be able to record in the sequencer track though.
For testing purposes, I would think that you could add an "instrument object" and cable that to the keyboard out post.
*You never answered whether or not an instrument was selected, and if so is it connected to the right sequencer track? You must have an instrument!

Re: Lost MIDI Controller in Logic 10.2.1 Update
I am Happy to say The Problem is Solved
Thank you Len and Andy for all the helpful pointers
As it turns out I zipped then deleted the A Keyboard Series Device Script as Len mentioned earlier and Voila
BUT along the way I learned a whole lot more about routing inside Logic and I am really happy to be using the keyboard again.
