Actually, I did tell her about the forum thread, regardless you at least have a good employee in her - she is very nice and cordial.

Nice to know you at least do have a sense of humor. That said Ron, the original 80's/90's 1-900 king, does have a lease very close to the address I was given so there is a bit of truth to that - not that they film there but just the same.

Ever the stickler. Your attention to detail leads me to believe you could be really good at this. Most on this forum aren't young, yet youth is an advantage; you don't have to guess at the market, when you're the market. I wouldn't opt out, if I were you, but I obviously ain't. Sure, you can have your money back, the CEO of maybe the world's only legitimate independent A&R firm has told you as much, but maybe if you cool your jets and hang, for a bit, something wonderful could happen. Again, I don't know this for a fact, but my opinions aren't based on fantasy.

However there are a few issues in play here:

1. As for "...cool your jets and hang..." If you go back on page three here you will see that it was Michael who approached me being accusatory and abusive, so that's on him

2. I'm a writer and am not going to compose short melodic sound bytes for commercial and/or background tv placements - which are the overwhelming majority of Taxi placements

3. It is on me as for not investigating thoroughly about this place, however if there were any "truth in advertising" there would be at least a decent percentage of SONGS placed with labels here, there are not - very, very few. To which those are only in the cookie cutter format mentioned in the first post in regards to the "cut and paste" response from reviewers

That said, thank you for taking the time to chime in. Again, I'm not knocking, if you go back and read through this thread, those whom are happy with this joint. Quite the contrary, more power to you/them and I'm happy for anyone whom can make even a little money (let alone a living) off doing what they enjoy - that is the goal after all.
