First Forward

Post by LeKenneth » Tue Feb 23, 2016 1:08 pm

Received my first forward today and I feel great :D

Track:

Listing:

REALITY SHOW-Style INSTRUMENTAL CUES in many Moods, Genres and Tempos are needed for Non-Exclusive placements by a very busy Music Licensing Company with a great list of great placements. They’re on the hunt for Instrumental Cues you’d hear on shows like The Bachelor, Top Chef, The Real Housewives, Mountain Men, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Hotel Impossible, etc., etc., etc. Check out the following shows (but don’t limit yourself to just those shows) to get an idea of the type of Cues they’re looking for: “The Bachelor, Ben Higgins” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hhfx0qQRLCk “Top Chef, Canada” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17wLhy3s2rI “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Season 6 Trailer” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqR_1ZiK6oE “Mountain Men” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Av7y9gXRI0 “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=njqiRdkTtrOZZek1K “Hotel Impossible” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RIBT_ycTvk If you’re new to creating Cues for Reality Shows, you’d be really smart to spend some time listening to the examples above to get familiar with the styles and arrangements often used in Reality TV! Please submit Cues in a wide range of styles that you’d hear in any of the popular Reality Shows currently on TV. They’re anxious to find virtually any genres from Dramedy, Tension, Somber Solo Piano, Dramatic, Blues Rock, Hip Hop, Pop, Uplifting Acoustic, Cocktail Jazz Piano, Swampy Acoustic, etc., etc., etc. Whatever genre you decide to submit should sound current for that style, and use great sounding samples/virtual instruments that don’t sound dated, stiff or obviously MIDI-driven. Build your Cues with short intros, or no intro at all; and quickly get right to “red meat” while layering your instruments in and out as your Cue moves forward to keep it from sounding too linear or repetitive. Avoid arrangements or production that’s too busy or frenetic or could distract from dialog. All submissions should be at least 2 minutes long with easy edit points and Buttoned/Stinger endings that will make them more desirable to the shows’ editors. Do NOT copy or rip off the referenced examples in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a guide for tempo, texture, tone, and vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed (Great sounding home recordings are fine). This Library offers a NON-EXCLUSIVE, 50/50 Deal. You’ll get 50% of any applicable sync fees and 100% of the Writer’s share. The Publisher will get 50% of applicable sync fees and 100% of the Publisher’s Share on the version they pitch. You’ll keep 100% of the original copyright and master recording. You must own or control the Master and Copyright to submit to this pitch. Please submit one to three Instrumental Cues online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a yes/no basis by TAXI and must be received no later than 11:59PM (PST), on Friday, January 22nd, 2016. TAXI #D160122RC
