mixing concepts frequency bands

Post by lesmac » Wed Mar 30, 2016 3:44 am

Came across this 'Mixing with Mike" tutorial.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=78n2htSPwlE

Haven't watched any of his vids for a while and forgot how clear and informative they were.

Cheers
Les :)

Hi Lesmac,
Thanks for posting this. I've been looking through loads of on-line tuition stuff, so this makes a good addition with some more informative info.
Yeah when I'm in the accumulation mode I can't seem to get enough.

Some of Warren Huart's is ok too. His recording and mixing series has some good tips.
Nice one Les! Thank you.

Hey Cass,

Losing focus seems to be my middle name lately.

I got back to basics and remixed a little tune using Mojo's tip of balancing the tracks against pink noise. It can help set levels pretty quickly.

Cheers Les :)
