Looks like I've got another book to add to my shopping list!

Not sure, but this might be the longest post in the forum Rebekah. And has written some quality essays in the past, so you are in good company.

Hi Rebeka!
I totally agree.
Why do we go to the Road Rally? To mingle and get acquainted, to establish new co-writes and other relationships, and much more. Definitely!
But for most people I believe another important aspect of the Road Rally is to learn, learn, learn, and to get new impulses that will hopefully bring us to a new level.
For the many members who already know much or most of what is needed, the learning process may not be so important.
But, if we are to be honest, then most of us need a lot of input to bring us up to their level. This will often mean giving us an indoctrination in the basics.
It must surely be in Taxi's own interest to do whatever is possible to raise the level of its members knowledge and expertise, and that means bringing the "none-expert" members a little closer to their more experienced counterparts.
So bring on the basics in November - many will need this, and those who really don't, may need a reminder of what it's all about ...
