Another Logic Pro X question...

Post by NaeDae » Fri Aug 19, 2016 12:14 pm

Ok I'm trying to figure out how to get to the pluggins cause these dropdowns seem to be getting in the way.

Alright since I can't figure out how to post a screenshot on this site for some reason (I'm very very tempted to type with other words but the rules prohibit that so I won't), I'll just explain it..

So in Logic Pro X, the "Quick Help", "Region: MIDI Thru" and "TRACK: male vocals" tabs are over where the pluggins are and I'm trying to get to the pluggins. Anyone know how?

you can click beside the slots - those are either Plugins, midi plugins, or channel strip settings and it opens the "library" - see where the little grey and blue "disclosure triangles" are? Hot key command is R as well.

or just click and hold in any of those same spots and menus appear.

Alright it looks like pic 2, BUT there's a 3rd dropdown option above "Region" and "Track" that says "Quickhelp" and there's like 5 busses under where the pluggins would be, so the pluggins are just out of view (I can click on the bottom pluggin slot, but I can't see the rest of the pluggins).

Got me man. Hard to read your mind.

Osx screen shots:

Whole screen: shift-command-3

Part of the screen (you draw a window around what you want after doing this key command): shift-command-4

It sounds like you might need bring a view into the forefront or on top of the stack, Idk, but I see a cross with a piece of paper behind it. Click that.

I'd just click anything that could be clicked, if it's something that will close, it should ask for a confirmation first.

I'm not next to Logic, but you can turn off Quick Help by selecting (or deselecting) it under: Help > Quick Help.

Does that resolve you issue so you can get to the plugins?
