Sounds like a country styled voice to me, not what I typically would associate with the stated genre.
But who knows if it would be well received or not. Perhaps it's something that makes it stand out from the rest, not sure.

Arrangement feels good and care-free though, and it has a nice clarity and air to it.
But I wouldn't regard it as modern "dance music", in case that was the aim.

Thanks for the listen. It's a tropical feeling good dance song in the Singer/Songwriter genre something in the Jack Johnson, Jason M. kinda direction. I could imagine it playing during an funny island comedy movie during a dancing scene.

It's not anything near or supposed to be EDM Dance music or Tropical House. You can dance to more genres of music than EDM Dance music.

Yes, that's what I kinda suspected, that it wasn't aimed for modern dance genres, but I wouldn't know conclusively from the track description itself, so I felt it wouldn't harm to include that mention.

Production and mix sound tight and well balanced. Great job!

If I had to be nitpicky I would have had a little more high end sheen. but then thats just how I like my productions to sound. Depends on the production you are going for. I like still to cut my high end off at 17k on the master to remove any real irritating high end. Yes I hear pass 17K..I feel blessed as I used to work outside with aircraft for 10 years. but used ear plugs all the time. blessed to still have my hearing..
