Not for a particular listing, but just a new tune I have been working on.

Hi Sven,

nice work on this track. A few spots reminded me of STYX. Has a big screen feel.

cheers

Thanks! STYX is great. My prog rock influences always come out no matter what kind of track I work on.

Great epic piece with lots of movement and interest.

I heard some Van Halen and Chariots of fire plus a lot of other stuff from the 80s.

Loved it all but for the closing hi hats that started around 1.16 and then again toward the end.

You are totally right. Heard it in the car, and the ride cymbal was really annoying. I will definitely get a handle on that. BTW, these drums were done on Native Instruments Drum Lab program. A very simple yet effective plug in I highly recommend.

Hi Sven,
a really nice epic 80s track. I was immediately transported back to that great era.

Respect Paul

Thanks! I was trying to go for a synthwave/retrowave feel. I know that kind of music is more dance beat oriented, but mine has the halftime rhythms associated with more epic type tracks. But I hope I captured some synthwave/retrowave vibe.
